Not all cages have bars...

Listen closely, friend, for I must tell you of a tale most strange and wondrous that unfolds in the misty mountains where few dare to tread.

Once there was a man named Max, a scholar of birds who carried in his heart both knowledge and hidden sorrow. This Max followed a snow-white dove deep into the ancient forest, where the old trees whisper secrets and paths shift when you aren’t looking.

Oh, but I must caution you! Within these woods, he discovered a cottage nestled among gnarled roots—not the charming kind from picture books, but the kind that makes your skin prickle with warning. Inside dwelled a woman with eyes green as spring leaves, claiming to be the lost wife of Max’s beloved teacher—but remember, dear reader, how deceptive appearances can be in places touched by magic.

For in these forgotten woods dwells something ancient and hungry—a lord of darkness who wears a raven’s feathers and binds souls with chains forged from their deepest regrets. This creature—this Laird Raven—has mastered the art of turning one’s own past into a prison.

With each tick of the clock, the line between innocent and guilty grows thinner, and Max must answer a question that perhaps you’ve wondered yourself: Can those who have done terrible things ever truly be forgiven?

Will you journey with Max through these haunted pages? I promise you mystery and magic, terror and tenderness. But I warn you—once you begin this tale, you may find it impossible to look away until the final spell is broken.

The choice, brave reader, is yours.
