This past weekend (April 25-27), Stefan Liner had the exciting opportunity to work as Assistant Director on “Way of War,” a promising short film serving as a proof of concept for a potential TV series about amateur fighters pursuing UFC dreams.
The two-day shoot brought together a talented crew of 15 and a cast of 6, led by Osinor Kakhu, who wrote, produced, and stars in the project. Osi, an amateur fighter and model himself, brings authentic experience to this compelling story.
“It was so great to be a part of the project,” Stefan shared. “It’s always inspiring to work with talented people who pour their heart and soul into their work. So glad I got to be included!”
“Way of War” is currently in post-production. The project’s concept feels timely, as interest in MMA filmmaking continues to grow.
Keep your eyes open for “Way of War” in the coming months, and who knows—perhaps we’ll soon see this concept developed into a full series exploring the compelling journey of fighters chasing their UFC aspirations, with Stefan Liner’s creative contributions behind the scenes!
